Network Assistant is reportedly affected by a remote denial of service vulnerability. This is due to the application failing to properly handle malformed UDP datagrams. A malicious user could exploit this vulnerability to crash the vulnerable software. It is reported that exploitation of this vulnerability can only occur from a computer on the local network.
