The Piolet client has been reported prone to a remote denial of service vulnerability. The issue has been reported to present itself when a remote attacker floods TCP port 701 with specific packets. This will cause the Piolet application to behave in an unstable manner; ultimately the Piolet client application will fail, effectively denying service to legitimate users.
