Alguest is prone to an issue, which may allow remote attackers to bypass authentication procedures and gain administrative access to the software. The attacker may manually craft a cookie sufficient to bypass the authentication check and proceed to make an HTTP request for the Alguest admin panel. Ultimately the fake cookie may bypass the Alguest authentication procedure and the attacker will gain administrative access to the guestbook.
