A vulnerability has been discovered in KaZaA Media Desktop v2. When a KaZaA client establishes a connection with the server, an advertisement download request is made. It has been reported that KaZaA fails to sufficiently handle unsuspected responses to ad requests. As a result, it may be possible to crash a vulnerable KaZaA client by sending malicious responses.
