Some default configurations of Lawson Financials may allow unauthorized users access to sensitive information. By default, user credentials such as the Lawson Financials user name and password are stored in a world-readable, world-writable file. This could allow a user with local access to a Lawson Financials system to gain access to the Financials database. This issue is known to affect Financials installed on the UNIX operating system.
