By default Surecom contains community strings, accessible by unauthorized users, which could grant read/write access to an SNMP servers Management Information Base (MIB). Exploiting this vulnerability may result in denial of service or the disclosure of information needed by the attacker to launch further attacks against a target network. It is not yet known whether versions other then the EP-4501 router are affected by this issue.
