PostgreSQL has been reported prone to a data loss vulnerability. It has been reported that a non-privileged user may invoke the PostgreSQL VACUUM command in some circumstances this may result in data loss or a denial of service condition. It should be noted that all PostgreSQL version 7.2.* installations prior to 7.2.3 have been reported vulnerable.
