eL DAPo has been reported prone to a plaintext password vulnerability. It has been reported that sensitive authentication credentials are stored embedded in the source of a certain eL DAPo script file. If the attacker has the ability to view the source of this script plaintext passwords may be disclosed. It should be noted that although this vulnerability has been reported to affect eL DAPo version 1.17, previous versions might also be affected.
