SLMail is prone to directory traversal attacks. An attacker could exploit this issue to request files outside of the document root of the web-based administrative interface. This could allow remote attackers to gain access to the contents of sensitive files or execute commands in the context of SLMail. It is believed that the attacker must first authenticate with the administrative interface to exploit this issue.
