A vulnerability has been reported for iPlanet 6.0 which may conceal malicious log entries. Specifically, by generating a log entry using a hostname that is prepended with a malicious string, the internal log viewing iPlanet utilities will be unable to view the entry. It is not currently known if this issue also affects earlier releases of iPlanet 6.0.
