A vulnerability has been reported in some versions of Microsoft Excel for Windows. It may be possible to execute macro code despite restrictions imposed by the Macro Security Model. Embedded objects within an Excel spreadsheet may contain inline macro code. As a result of this vulnerability, inline macro code may not be recognized by the Macro Security Model. Macro code may be executed through user interaction, bypassing any security restrictions placed on code execution.
