Oracle Server is a fully-featured relational database management system. SQL*Plus is the primary interface for the Oracle server, it integrates Oracle SQL and PL/SQL. SQL*Plus enables the retrieval and modification of data and the general maintenance of the database. Oracle is available for the Unix, Linux, and Microsoft Windows platforms. Under the default settings, any connected SQL*Plus user may execute arbitrary shell commands.
