Squid Web Proxy Cache is a free, open source proxy server. It has been reported that it is possible to use the SNMP client snmpwalk to crash Squid Web Proxy servers. This condition occurs when snmpwalk is used to browse empty tables. This issue may be exploited by remote attackers. The proxy server will need to be restarted to regain normal functionality.
