The WaveNet IP 2400 and 2458 are part of a series of wireless routers offered by Wireless, Inc. The routers ship with ftp, telnet, snmp, and www services to facilitate remote administration. It has been reported that the ftp service included with these devices may be vulnerable to a buffer overflow attack. When certain commands are argumented with large amounts of data, the service will crash. This was discovered using the Nessus FTP probe.
