Novell BorderManager is an internet security suite with firewall, Virtual Private Networking and other features. Versions of BorderManager are vulnerable to SYN flood attacks. By sending many TCP SYN packets to port 353 of a vulnerable server, an attacker can cause a host running BorderManager to refuse all new TCP/IP client connections until the system is restarted.
