Microsoft Security Advisory MS02-011 - The Windows 2000 and Exchange 5.5 mail servers have an authentication flaw which allows remote users to send spam. An attacker who exploited the vulnerability would gain user-level privileges on the SMTP service, thereby enabling the attacker to use the service as a mail relay.
