Microsoft Security Bulletin (MS00-039) - "SSL Certificate Validation" vulnerabilities. Microsoft has released a patch for two security vulnerabilities in Microsoft Internet Explorer 4 and 5. The vulnerabilities involve how IE handles digital certificates, allowing a malicious web site operator to pose as a trusted web site.
